Wicked Fort Lauderdale | Broward Center
Something Wicked this Way Comes…
Ever wonder who the Wicked Witch of the West really was? The Broadway hit musical Wicked, the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz tackles this question and more, with wild fun that only an adventure in Oz can deliver. As a sequel of sorts to the beloved film, The Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the story of Elphaba, the witch with the bad rap. Based on the books of Frank L. Baum and Gregory Maguire, the story takes place before the arrival of Dorothy, centered around the young witch-to-be.
There’s a Little Bit of Wicked in All of Us
At the heart of the musical is the theme that people are shaped by how they’re treated, inspiring the audience to be good to each other for the sake of the future. Blurring the line between and good and evil, it’s a lesson that’s relevant to children and adults alike, told in a story that’s relatable to all of us. See this show every Tuesday-Sunday through February 17th at the Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center. The show is 2 hours and 45 minutes long, with one intermission.
