Relay for Life Hollywood Beach

Relay For Life is a life-changing community event that helps celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer and remember those loved ones lost. This years Relay will be held at ArtsPark at Young Circle, Friday-Saturday, May 4-5 2012, with opening ceremonies starting at 6 pm, and ending Sunday at 12 pm. Teams of people will camp out at ArtsPark and take turns walking or running around a track or path. This is an overnight event designed with entertainment and activities for when not participating, and although Relayers do not have to walk all night, each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. To close the relay, there is a fight back ceremony held to encourage people to spread awareness of cancer research and take action. Come out and walk for great cause, or just cheer participants on as they run through the night.
